WELCOME TO FREEDOM COUNSELING SERVICES (FCS)
FACILITY RULES AND GENERAL INFORMATION
INTRODUCTION: Freedom Counseling Services is registered as a FAITH-BASED CHRISTIAN COUNSELING FACILITY with the State of Texas. Under the exemption code of the Drug and Alcohol Commission. (Although we can counsel anyone who suffer from drug and alcohol addictions it is purely from a FAITH BASED approach, not medical.
The FCS facility is made possible by the Harvest International Christian Center. The congregation here at HICC welcomes you and prays your stay will be a prosperous and fulfilling experience. FCS is fully supported by donations and the HICC family church.
The FCS team is made up presently of eight counselors, of whom some are Certified Christian Counselors, some are Licensed Ministers Lay Ministers/Prayer Warriors. All are volunteers to serve you. FCS is also a training facility for ministers to learn about different aspects of counseling. Read further for specific information about our services.
APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM- FCS offers a counselors’ training program called an “Apprenticeship Program” This program offers those interested in learning how to counsel the opportunity to sit in on sessions and participate to varying degrees. A person can choose how involved they want to be by completing each stage. The stages are :
After completion of training, they will receive a certificate from FCS. They may or may not be asked to become a part of the FCS ministry team at that time. You may or may not wish to take your own clientele and establish “your own” practice. In order to establish your own practice with FCS there are several requirements, such as you must be a Licensed Minister OR have completed the state required counseling course. Many have done both. ( If you do not wish to be a Primary Counselor or take your own clientele, then this is not required of you to become a minister or have the state required course.) .Ask if you are interested in more information concerning the Apprenticeship Program.
COST: There is no fee or cost. Donations are appreciated and accepted paid to Freedom Counseling Services. All counselors donate their time and services to help in any way they can. Therefore by giving a donation, you keep these services possible for others in need.
GENERAL INFORMATION: FACILITY

The FCS office is an old building with high ceilings. We do have central heat and air but we still have to use window units in some rooms and floor heaters. So dress cool in summer and warm in winter.
The facility itself is a two bedroom, three baths, three offices, living area, kitchenette, and wash room. Usually there is no one else staying there the same till you will be. The kitchenette has no stove, just a hot plate and microwave and fridge/freezer. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL YOUR OWN MEALS DURING YOUR STAY. If you fly in and will not have a car to go shopping, someone will take you to the store as needed.
Most people if they are close enough drive their own car. Some have came from bus, or train. Some fly in. If you need us to meet you at the airport or station it can be arranged. We have had many persons from out of state., and even some from out of country. One type counseling we do is rare especially the demonization and DID/MPD together. (Dissociative Identity Disorder/Multiple personality disorder) so many travel the world to find help. We are blessed to be able to provide this type of unique ministry!
But of course we do all types of counseling. Such as: Anger management, premarital, marriage counseling, parenting counseling, teen problems, physical problems/healing, Financial counseling, pregnancy counseling, abortion post traumatic counseling, abuse, trauma counseling, rape/incest/molestation, addictions:sexual, drug, alcohol, etc., Unforgiveness/bitterness, Depression/ Grief/Suicide/murder/self injury, demonic oppression/demonization, Persons coming out of witchcraft, Satanism, a cult., Multiple personality disorders, Dissociative Disorders, Manic Depressive, Compulsive Disorders. As mentioned above,Our team of counselors (presently ten) work in their specific area of expertise. Here is a list of current counselors and their specialties:
There is NO PHONE on the premises, so you will NEED A CELL PHONE. There are other buildings owned by the church on the property, so people will be in and out during the day and church service nights.
If you don’t like the idea of being alone at the office, you may bring one adult person with you. This person needs to be a Christian who is strong in the Lord that you can depend upon for support and hopefully support after you leave also. A minister or someone interested in learning about deliverance themselves would be perfect! This person needs to be someone you would allow in the sessions with you for support.
NO CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED to stay, or to even visit, due to the seriousness and intensity of counseling it is impossible to entertain children. NO exceptions.
NO DRUGS, OR ALCHOL-Only prescription drugs. If you are under a doctors care you will be asked to give detailed information. We may choose to call your physician to verify the legality of the prescriptions you have.
SMOKING ALLOWED ONLY OUTDOORS! (and please place used ones in the trash)
If you are under psychiatric care or if you have been diagnosed with a mental illness/depression/mental problem of any degree you may be asked for a copy of your records.
We ask that you be totally honest with us and if you have problems with cutting, suicide, self mutilation, sleep walking or physical evidences of spiritual attacks of any kind that you inform us for your own safety. If you are being followed or stalked or harassed in person, by phone or any other way, please inform us for your safety.
We ask that you do not move any items, furniture, etc. We ask you to be frugal in the use of electricity, water, etc. If you will be leaving the facility going to town you will most likely be given a key, please keep doors locked when you are not there. Please return the key upon leaving.
Of course we do expect you to clean up after yourself at all times. Most likely we will still be counseling others in between your own sessions so the office must be clean. In special cases we clear the schedule of other people to spend all our time with you, but that is depending on who we are already dealing with and that will be our decision to make.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
We typically spend around 3-5 hours a session with you at least once a day. Sometimes twice, depending on our schedule, etc. We consider you to be on a “sabbatical” for help so we encourage you to spend the extra time in prayer and meditation seeking God for answers, etc. This is a joint effort on your part, and expect full cooperation. Truthfullness and honesty is of utmost importance. Usually we meet everyday unless we have agreed upon a rest day. Monday through Sunday. The longest period of time is up to two weeks. You may come back at any time, but two weeks of intense counseling everyday is extreme and we will all need the rest.
There will be a MINIMUM of two counselors, more typically around four at each session. If we get into deliverance from the demonic you can expect more people for prayer support. If you are a male, if at all possible another male will be present, if not there will be a minimum of two women present at your session or the session will be cancelled. Each session is carefully noted and at the discretion of the head counselor it may be video taped also. EVERYTHING disclosed in the sessions are totally confidential. All records/tapes are confidential and remain at the FCS office.
CHURCH SERVICES: We will have no sessions on Wednesday nights or Sunday mornings. We require you to attend worship with us for several reasons.
You need to be in an atmosphere of the Holy Spirit. You are here for healing and church is a great place for that to happen.
The congregation and staff support FCS, they would like to meet those who are being helped by the ministry. All your personal information is confidential; all they know is you are here for help, no details are given out.
It gives us a chance to see you in a different setting and to be there right beside you in case you need us.
The Word of God is powerful, who knows that one night in service may be all you need to transform your life forever.
We just want you to be included and be a part of us, and give us a chance to introduce you to the rest of the family who cares about you too. Service times are Wednesday at 7:30 pm and Sunday mornings at 10 am The church is directly behind the FCS office. Within walking distance.
We understand those who are demonized that this may be difficult for you. But you are here for help and we will give you those skills you need to fight. If you don’t worship and live for God , Satan wins, you must prove to Him that he (satan) will not rule your life and that YOU have control and a will. By attending services you show us your commitment to not only get freedom but to maintain it by a committed Christian walk.
AFTER CARE: Whether you stay one day or a week, our goal is to see you complete and finished, so this may require you to return again for more sessions at a later time. Know this, we will hang with you for however long it takes to reach freedom. You may apply again to come for another session or stay after 6 weeks. Every case is different so it’s hard to say how long it will take for you to be completely healed. A lot depends on YOUR determination too.
During the sessions you will learn how to identify the tricks and games of satan and learn tools in living victoriously. You will also be taught how to STAY free. It is not uncommon at all for healing to take place in seasons. You may go through deliverance for three months in a row and think you are “done” living victoriously, no problems, then whammo your right back down with another issue, or maybe the same one. It is not always because you have reopened a door, sometimes it just means the healing needs to go deeper now., it’s time to deal with more things. So don’t be discouraged if that happens. It’s a good thing not a bad thing. You are going to receive MORE healing that is a GOOD thing. If we have to see you off and on for years we are committed to that. DON’T give up!!!!
Hopefully, we can help locate ministers in your area to continue support help if you live out of state. But we can also stay in touch by the internet, phone or mail. We can do online counseling if needed by email or instant messaging. There is NOTHING that can stand in your way of healing if you are serious and committed to do what it takes to be FREE.
Come with a positive outlook. Pray and seek God for this to be a time of cleansing for you. GOD IS A GOOD GOD!!!!
