"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
God created a perfect world in the beginning. He placed Adam and then Eve in this perfect world. Adam chose to follow his own way instead of God's way. Adam violated God's commandment in Genesis 2:17. "But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Adam followed his own way and ate of the tree. He died. First he died spiritually. His spirit, which was alive, died. He was now seperated from God. He use to walk with God daily in the Garden. Now he only wanted to hide from God. Second he died physically. His body began to decay and age. He eventually died. His soul was now doomed to hell and the lake of fire which was created for Satan and his angels. God loved Adam and did not want him to perish. He created another way in which Adam could walk with God again, not be judged in his sin, and avoid going to hell & the eternal lake of fire.
Genesis 3:15, "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." God promised that the serpent and the woman would be enemies. God would bring forth a man from the woman and the man would bruise the serpent's head. The serpent would in turn bruise the man's heel (the nails in Jesus' feet on the cross). This was the child of promise to Eve and to Adam.
God had prepared a way of Salvation for mankind. Thousands of years would pass until the Son of God would be born. Satan attempted to stop God's plan on many occasions. He failed each time. See Genesis - Malachi for further study on this. God sustained for Himself a people in which the Son of God would be born. After the times had been fulfilled God sent forth His son, Jesus of Nazareth, to be born of a virgin named Mary. Jesus grew strong in the knowledge of his Father God. At the age of 30 he presented himself to Israel as the Messiah. He was baptized by John the Baptist in the river Jordan. The Spirit of God descended on Jesus in the presence of all who were there.
Jesus then was driven by the Spirit to the wilderness where he didn't eat or drink for 40 days. There Satan tempted him with three temptations. Each time Jesus overcame Satan's temptations and was victorious. Then Jesus began His public ministry of healing the sick, raising the dead, casting out demons, teaching the Word of God, performing miracles, and proclaiming through parables that He was the Messiah and the Son of God. (Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John).
At the end of three years Jesus willing allowed Himself to be openly ridiculed, tortured, beaten, and humilated by the Jewish religious leaders and the Roman government. He allowed Himself to be nailed to a wooden cross and hung for 3 hours. He chose his hour of death proclaiming to God He was giving up His spirit and then He died.
Jesus was then placed in a new stone tomb and a temple guard was put over it. Come Sunday Morning ( Jesus was crucified Friday afternoon) the temple soldiers had fled from the tomb. On Sunday Morning Mary Magdeliene, Peter, John, and John Mark all came to the tomb of Jesus to annoint His body with spices and to their amazement He wasn't there. He had risen from the Dead. The stone had been rolled away and his grave clothes remained on the stone ledge wrapped in the shape of a man without the man within. Mary was the first Jesus appeared to. Then John and Peter. Then the two on the way. Then the 10 disciples. Then to Thomas. Then to the rest. Jesus taught them and opened their eyes to what Jesus had done. They finally understood. Then Jesus in the view of them all ascended to heaven in the flesh to sit at the right hand of God. He warned them that if He goes to prepare a place for them then He would return for them. Jesus is coming back.
How does this apply to you? You are lost. You don't know God. You only know the god of this world, Satan/Lucifer. He has blinded you in times past to God's plan of salvation. Now is the day of your salvation.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" Romans 6:23
Jesus came to die for you. He had to pay the debt of your sins with His life. That is why He died on the Cross willingly. He hung there and God placed your sins on Him. He had no sin. He was perfect in His life and in His birth. We are doomed from birth and we sin in life. God took your sins and placed them on Jesus. Does that mean that all mankind is saved from death and hell? No.
We have to confess that Jesus Christ is Lord of All, Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that God had raised Him from the Dead, Renounce Satan, and believe that Jesus took our sins upon Himself. God will then place within you His Holy Spirit to Seal you into His kingdom.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" Ephesians 2:8-9
We are saved by the undeserved love and favor of God. We receive this salvation by faith. Faith is believing/knowing that God is true to keep His promises. We cannot earn salvation. It is freely given to those who will believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on the Cross and was Resurrected from the Dead so that we might be Saved.
Do you want to be saved from sin and death? We can guide you in a statement of faith proclaimed to God if you would like. Cry out to Jesus for Salvation and He will.
Cry out to Jesus the following statement and believe with all your heart that it is true:
Jesus, I believe that you are the Creator of the Universe. I believe that you are the Son of God. I know that my sins were placed on you when you hung on the Cross. I know that you rose from the dead three days after you died. I know that you sit on the right hand of the Father. I know that you are coming again at the fullness of times. I confess my sins to you and I no longer wish to follow Satan or my own way. I want you to save me. Save me Lord Jesus and cover me with your blood that my sins will be taken away. I ask you that if any evil spirits have a right to torment me in any way, by possession or by oppression that they be cast out in Jesus Name, their functions are cut off and they cannnot operate any longer. I have a new bloodline in Jesus Christ, therefore I break off any generational curses in Jesus Name, and I pronounce a new generational blessing for me, my fanily and all my generations to the end of time. I confess that now I know you have taken my sins away and now I belong to you. I now ask that your Holy Spirit come in my heart, fill me, consume me, create in me a clean heart. I confess that I will serve you and follow your will. I proclaim that you own me. I will now seek water baptism and the fellowship of other believers. Thank you Jesus for your grace and mercy. Amen.
Now the hard part begins. Ask God to direct you to a bible believing church. You need fellowship. You need to confess to the church your faith in Christ Jesus. Then you need to be Baptized in Water. I fully believe that you need to be immersed fully in Water Baptism. Do not forsake the fellowship of other believers. If you need help locating a church then contact us and we will assist you. Life after you become a Believer is not easy. In fact it becomes harder than before because now you are an enemy of the world. The world and Satan will hate you. Do not fear for Jesus is with you and He overcame the world. If you cried out to Jesus then I welcome you into the family of God. Now the fun part begins!
